Love You Lai!!

Bow wow! Was the sound

At the gate was a cute little hound

Wagging her tail without any tension

She had no trace of apprehension.

 

Her eyes glimmered with vitality

She had a jet black coat of clarity

Patches of white on the tip of her tail

Her face, her feet and her belly was pale.

 

A beauty in all respects!

Was she an angel? I had to test.

I could not feel her physically

As she was quicker than me, really!

 

A little later we grew closer

Everyday, I did feed her

If there was anything she loved more than me

It was the biscuits I gave her daily

 

Then one day I was betrayed!

She got a family whom she cared

More than me! Ohh I couldn’t bear!!

3 more puppies stood at her rear.

 

But still Lai I love you!

You lick my feet daily too.

I may not be ticklish

But your licks are so licky! Sheesh!!

 

Your language, I now understand,

You love me more than I can stand!

We’ll stay together till the end

In our lives there is no dead end!!
